Удар стихии, зверства изуверов –
Ничто не может разобщить такой народ,
Любовь к земле его хранит и вера,
И каждый вместе со страной свой крест несёт.
Безропотно снося судьбы удары,
Как горцы гордые, не сломлены судьбой,
По всей Армении стоят хачкары* -
Кресты, украшенные каменной резьбой.
